Hello, welcome to my site.

I developed this site for a several reasons. One was to share my interest with others that have the same interest. Second, to spark interest in astronomy for those who are curious about the subject. And finally, to share some of the limited knowledge I have on the subject to help others make their transition into astronomy less frustrating than my experience.

If you are new to astronomy, you will find yourself asking many questions about the type of equipment needed. I have a section of my site dedicated to this question. One should research this information carefully before deciding what type of equipment to purchase. This is very important if you want to get started off on the right foot in such an exciting and rewarding hobby.
